ACME Solar Elevates Yogesh Sanklecha to Head of Business Development

ACME Solar Holdings Ltd has announced the elevation of Yogesh Kumar Sanklecha as Head of Business Development, along with his designation as Senior Management Personnel, effective January 15, 2026. The decision follows a recommendation by the company’s Nomination and Remuneration Committee and reflects ACME Solar’s focus on leadership continuity as it scales its renewable energy portfolio.

In his expanded role, Mr Sanklecha will oversee all commercial functions across the group, including business development, bidding strategy, stakeholder engagement, and revenue growth initiatives. An MBA Gold Medallist, he brings over 25 years of association with the ACME Group and has held several leadership positions across diverse functions during his tenure.

Over the past few years at ACME Solar, Mr Sanklecha has played a central role in driving the company’s growth trajectory. He has led multiple strategic initiatives, contributed to portfolio expansion across technologies, and strengthened ACME Solar’s market positioning in India’s competitive renewable energy sector. His deep understanding of project economics, regulatory frameworks, and customer requirements has been instrumental in delivering sustainable growth.

In his new role, Mr Sanklecha is expected to be a key enabler of ACME Solar’s long-term vision to achieve 10 GW of installed capacity by 2030. He will continue to manage end-to-end stakeholder relationships, from bid submission through project execution and commissioning, while working closely with the leadership team to support the company’s expansion plans.
