Monolithisch India Limited, a leading manufacturer of unshaped refractory materials, has announced a significant milestone in its ongoing capacity expansion journey, reinforcing its commitment to growth, operational excellence, and market leadership. On the occasion of the auspicious festivals of Makar Sankranti, Bihu, Pongal, and Lohri, the Company extends its warm greetings and best wishes to all stakeholders, wishing prosperity, progress, and happiness.
As part of its previously announced strategic capacity expansion program, Monolithisch India Limited has confirmed that trial runs for its newly installed manufacturing facilities will commence with effect from 14 January 2026. Subject to the successful completion of these trial runs, the Company expects the additional manufacturing capacity of 250,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) to become fully operational from 21 January 2026.
This capacity enhancement represents a key phase in the Company’s systematically planned, multi-stage expansion initiative. It reflects Monolithisch India Limited’s consistent focus on strengthening its manufacturing capabilities through efficient project execution, sustained operational improvements, and the adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies. The expansion has been implemented in line with the Company’s long-term growth roadmap and is designed to support increasing demand across end-use industries.
The newly added capacity will significantly enhance the Company’s ability to meet rising domestic and international demand for its comprehensive portfolio of unshaped refractory products. It will also support the growing acceptance of the Company’s premium product offering, SGB-Limited, enabling Monolithisch India Limited to deliver improved volumes while maintaining its high standards of quality, reliability, and timely delivery.
With this expansion, Monolithisch India Limited continues to strengthen its supply capabilities across key markets, ensuring enhanced responsiveness to customer requirements and reinforcing long-standing customer relationships. The increased capacity is expected to provide greater operational flexibility, optimize production efficiencies, and improve service levels across geographies.
Importantly, this development supports the Company’s stated objective of achieving a net installed group capacity of 574,000 TPA by April/May 2026. Upon completion of the planned expansion phases, Monolithisch India Limited is poised to further consolidate its leadership position in the unshaped refractory materials segment and emerge as the largest manufacturer in the segment in terms of installed capacity.
The Company’s growth strategy remains firmly anchored in sustainable and responsible manufacturing practices. Continuous investments in modern infrastructure, advanced process technologies, and skilled manpower remain central to Monolithisch India Limited’s approach to long-term value creation. The expansion is also expected to contribute positively to operational resilience and scalability as the Company prepares to capitalize on future growth opportunities.
Monolithisch India Limited reiterates its commitment to customer-centric growth, innovation, and sustainability, while continuing to create value for all stakeholders through disciplined execution and strategic foresight.
