Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 Scheduled for 19–22 March in New Delhi

The Bharat Electricity Summit 2026 will be held from 19 to 22 March 2026 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The announcement was made by Manohar Lal, Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, who also unveiled the event brochure and teaser film.

The four-day conference and exhibition will be held under the theme “Electrifying Growth. Empowering Sustainability. Connecting Globally.” The Summit will focus on India’s electricity sector and its role in the global energy transition, while addressing emerging challenges and opportunities across power generation, transmission and distribution. The event will bring together stakeholders from government, industry, academia and civil society from India and abroad. It aims to encourage dialogue, knowledge exchange and international cooperation in electricity and clean energy systems.

The Summit will feature over 50 conference sessions, expert panel discussions, technology showcases and thematic pavilions covering the full electricity value chain. More than 500 exhibitors are expected to participate, with attendance projected at over 25,000 visitors, including 1,000 delegates and 300 speakers.

A dedicated Buyer-Seller Meet will be organized to support business partnerships and facilitate collaboration across the global power supply chain. The Summit will also provide opportunities for companies to display technologies and solutions in power generation, transmission, distribution, storage, energy efficiency, clean energy and emerging technologies.

Speaking at the announcement, Shri Lal said the Summit reflects India’s shift from managing electricity shortages to building resilient systems capable of supporting long-term growth and sustainability. He added that the event would serve as a platform for collaboration between technology providers, infrastructure developers and decision-makers.

Senior officials from central ministries, regulatory bodies, state governments, industry associations and public sector utilities attended the announcement, along with representatives from international missions and power sector organizations.
