Sigachi Industries Ltd (NSE: SIGACHI; BSE: 543389), a global manufacturer of pharmaceutical excipients and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), has appointed Atul Dhavle as its Chief People Officer. In this role, he will work closely with the Board and senior leadership to align the company’s people strategy with its long-term business plans.
Mr Dhavle will be responsible for leadership development, organisational structure, talent and capability planning, and strengthening governance and people processes. His mandate includes supporting consistency in culture and operations as Sigachi expands across geographies, business lines, and operating models, while encouraging accountability, engagement, and trust across the organisation.

Mr Dhavle brings nearly 30 years of experience in human capital leadership, covering organisation design, talent development, capability building, and large-scale transformation across multi-location operations. Prior to joining Sigachi, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Granules India Limited, where he led people initiatives across manufacturing, R&D, and corporate functions.
His earlier roles include leadership positions at Bharat Forge, Dr Reddy’s, DuPont Fibers, and Mahindra. The appointment reflects Sigachi Industries’ continued focus on building organisational strength, supporting its workforce, and creating a resilient enterprise based on transparency, responsibility, and long-term value creation.
