Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited has launched its new Gulf Syntrac range of fully synthetic motorcycle engine oils at India Bike Week 2025, held in Panchgani. The company participated as the event’s main sponsor for the third consecutive year. The launch reflects Gulf Oil’s focus on the premium and high-performance motorcycle segment in India.
Gulf Syntrac is a 100 percent fully synthetic engine oil range developed using ester-based technology and meets API SP specifications. The product line includes 11 stock-keeping units across multiple viscosity grades, including 10W-30, 10W-40, 10W-50, 15W-50, and 20W-50. The oils are designed to protect engines, gearboxes, and wet clutches under high-temperature, high-speed, and heavy-load conditions, making them suitable for city riding, highway use, and sustained high-speed operation.
Within Gulf Oil’s two-wheeler portfolio, Syntrac is positioned above the existing Gulf Pride range. The company stated that the new range expands its premium offering and serves as its flagship product line for high-performance motorcycles.
India Bike Week provided a platform for Gulf Oil to engage directly with motorcycle enthusiasts. Activities at the company’s pavilion included live stunt performances by international enduro rider Pol Tarrés at the Gulf Enduro Park and the first public display in India of the Trackhouse Racing Team’s MotoGP motorcycle in Gulf livery.
Ravi Chawla, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited, said the launch aligns with the company’s focus on fully synthetic lubricants inspired by motorsports and designed for performance-oriented riders. He added that the event continues to offer a direct way to connect with the riding community.
