Ola Electric has announced the expansion of deliveries of its 4680 Bharat Cell-powered S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) electric scooter across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Telangana, and Karnataka, marking a key step in scaling its indigenously developed battery technology. Deliveries have commenced in Coimbatore, Kochi, and Hyderabad, alongside continued ramp-up in Bengaluru.

The S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) is the first electric two-wheeler in Ola Electric’s portfolio to feature the company’s in-house manufactured 4680 Bharat Cell battery pack, offering improved range, higher performance, and enhanced safety. With both battery cells and packs produced internally, Ola Electric has become India’s first EV manufacturer to fully own the cell-to-pack manufacturing process, reinforcing its vertically integrated EV strategy.

An Ola Electric spokesperson said that strong customer response to the S1 Pro+ validates the company’s focus on building globally competitive EV technology within India. As deliveries gain momentum across multiple states, the company is preparing for a wider national rollout of vehicles powered by the 4680 Bharat Cell platform.

Performance-wise, the S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) is equipped with a 13 kW motor, delivering rapid acceleration of 0–40 kmph in 2.1 seconds. The scooter offers a certified range of 320 km (IDC in DIY mode) and features four riding modes—Hyper, Sports, Normal, and Eco.

Safety enhancements include dual-channel ABS, front and rear disc brakes, along with improved ergonomics such as a two-tone comfort seat, body-coloured mirrors, a redesigned aluminium grab handle, rim decals, and a refreshed colour lineup. Ola Electric’s two-wheeler portfolio spans premium Gen 3 S1 scooters and Roadster X motorcycles across multiple battery configurations and price points, catering to both mass and premium segments.

Ola Electric Mobility Limited is India’s leading electric vehicle manufacturer, focused on vertically integrated EV and component manufacturing, including battery cells. Its Futurefactory in Tamil Nadu serves as a key production hub, supported by the Bengaluru-based Battery Innovation Centre. With R&D operations across India, the UK, and the US, and a direct-to-consumer network of over 4,000 company-owned stores, Ola Electric operates the country’s largest EV retail ecosystem.
