Zen Technologies Limited has received an Indian patent for its 60 mm Mortar Simulator, marking a significant milestone in the company’s innovation and intellectual property journey. With this grant, Zen’s patent portfolio has grown to 57 Indian patents, 85 global patents, and represents the company’s eighth patent granted in 2025.
The patented simulator provides a complete training solution for high-angled firing weapons such as mortar systems. It combines realistic weapon architecture with advanced sensors, azimuth and elevation controls, recoil simulation, and computer-generated battlefield environments. The system allows accurate replication of operational conditions while enabling safe, indoor, and all-weather training without reliance on live ammunition or outdoor firing ranges.
This patent strengthens Zen Technologies’ competitive position in global defence markets, where simulation-based training is increasingly adopted to enhance readiness and reduce operational risk. Strong IP protection supports the company’s participation in international defence tenders, collaborations, and export programs.
