ACE Unveils Advanced Equipment Line-Up at EXCON 2025

manufacturing-news

Action Construction Equipment Ltd (ACE), the world’s largest manufacturer of pick-and-carry cranes and a leading name in India’s construction and material handling equipment sector, has introduced a wide-ranging portfolio of technologically advanced machines at EXCON 2025. The latest showcase spans intelligent tower cranes, next-generation passenger lifts, AI-enabled pick-and-carry cranes, aerial access platforms, high-capacity telehandlers, and modern material handling solutions—highlighting ACE’s continued investment in performance, safety, and reliability.

As India accelerates infrastructure development across highways, metros, industrial corridors, logistics hubs, and urban construction, ACE’s new-generation machines are purpose-built to deliver higher productivity, precision control, and improved operator comfort. Each product displayed at EXCON reflects enhanced engineering, refined ergonomics, and integrated safety systems aimed at boosting job-site efficiency.

A significant aspect of the new range is its strong indigenous foundation. Most components, systems, and design innovations have been developed and manufactured within India, reinforcing ACE’s commitment to domestic manufacturing and alignment with the government’s vision for self-reliance and globally competitive production.

Commenting on the launches, Sorab Agarwal, Executive Director, ACE, said that innovation and trust continue to define the company’s leadership. He noted that the newly introduced equipment is engineered to meet real on-ground requirements, offering improved productivity, intuitive operation, and stronger safety performance while lowering overall ownership costs. As infrastructure activity gains momentum, ACE remains focused on delivering solutions that support India’s long-term growth.

Sustainability also featured prominently at EXCON 2025, with multiple machines incorporating features to improve fuel efficiency, reduce emissions, and extend equipment lifecycle. At EXCON 2025, ACE showcased the NX 230 pick-and-carry crane, a next-generation machine designed to deliver exceptional stability and control. Built on a single-chassis, non-articulated platform, the crane benefits from optimised axle weight distribution that enhances balance under demanding site conditions. Its compact turning radius and low creep speed enable precise handling in confined areas, while rear-axle leaf suspension improves operator comfort during long operating hours.

The FC 150 pick-and-carry crane marked a significant advancement with the introduction of a clutchless transmission system. By eliminating the clutch pedal altogether, the design offers smoother driving and lifting operations, reduces operator fatigue, and improves control during extended duty cycles. The simplified transmission also lowers mechanical wear, contributing to improved durability and consistent performance on congested project sites.

ACE also presented the AP25T truck-mounted articulated aerial work platform, which combines a 300 kg platform capacity with a compact footprint on a 3.5 to 7-ton chassis. Its articulated and telescopic boom configuration allows complex over-and-up reach, making it ideal for working around obstacles. Proportional electrohydraulic controls enable smooth, simultaneous movements, supporting safe and efficient operations in urban infrastructure, utilities, and maintenance applications.

The FT 6040 flat-top tower crane, featuring a 60-metre jib, highlighted ACE’s focus on automation and intelligent engineering. Equipped with advanced sensors, real-time monitoring, and modular construction using high-strength materials, the crane delivers improved stability and anti-collision protection in congested job sites. ACE also unveiled its first Passenger & Material Hoist, powered by a 32 kW motor and supported by a galvanised mast for enhanced safety and structural rigidity.

For road construction and surfacing applications, ACE introduced the ADD 95 tandem roller, engineered for high-precision asphalt compaction. The dual-drum design ensures even pressure distribution, while intelligent vibration and oscillation controls allow operators to switch seamlessly between static, vibratory, and oscillatory modes. An upgraded operator cabin enhances visibility and comfort, making the machine suitable for highways and large-scale urban projects.

The ASL 08, 12, and 14 scissor lift range reflects ACE’s Made-in-India approach to elevated work platforms. Designed for demanding local conditions, these electric scissor lifts use AC brushless drive systems for smooth, maintenance-free operation. With low noise output, zero emissions, and rugged deck construction, the platforms are well suited for construction sites, warehouses, and facility management tasks.

ACE’s F250 Ultra pick-and-carry crane stood out for its integrated safety architecture, combining SCOS, ALSS, and RAS systems. Together, these technologies manage load limits, enforce safe travel speeds under load, and dynamically adjust stability during articulation. This layered safety framework significantly reduces the risk of accidents, improves operator confidence, and minimises downtime caused by unsafe operating conditions.

Completing the line-up, the AT30 telehandler demonstrated ACE’s focus on versatility and productivity. Powered by a BS-5 compliant TATA engine, it offers a 3-ton lifting capacity with an 11.5-metre reach. The machine supports multiple attachments, allowing customers to perform a wide range of tasks using a single platform, thereby improving operational efficiency and overall return on investment.
