PDS Limited, a global fashion supply chain solutions provider, has received official validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its net-zero greenhouse gas emissions targets through FY2050. The approval confirms that PDS’s climate ambitions are aligned with science-based pathways consistent with the goals of the Paris Agreement.
The validation reinforces PDS’s long-term focus on embedding sustainability across its value chain and accelerating climate action in collaboration with customers, suppliers, and industry partners. The company has committed to reducing absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42 percent by FY2030, cutting Scope 3 emissions by 25 percent in the same timeframe, and achieving net-zero emissions across its entire value chain by FY2050.
Sanjay Jain, Group CEO of PDS, described the SBTi approval as a major milestone that reflects the company’s structured, data-led approach to emissions reduction. Paul Wright, Group ESG Director, added that the targets are grounded in global best practices and require deep collaboration and sustained investment in low-carbon solutions to deliver meaningful impact.
PDS actively monitors Scope 1 and 2 emissions across its owned manufacturing sites and key offices. Ongoing initiatives include the adoption of solar energy, mangrove restoration, increased use of recycled materials, and other sustainability-led interventions. The company’s approved targets will be published on the SBTi website in line with the initiative’s disclosure guidelines.
