Anudip Foundation for Social Welfare, in collaboration with DBS Bank India, has inaugurated a new DeepTech Training Centre in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. The centre marks a key milestone in a three-year skilling initiative aimed at training and placing 2,400 young people from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds across Mumbai, Kolkata, Pune, and Chennai.

The programme is designed to equip participants with future-ready digital skills and support their transition into sustainable employment. With a targeted placement rate of at least 70 percent, graduates are expected to secure roles offering monthly incomes in the range of ₹22,000 to ₹25,000, creating meaningful pathways toward long-term economic stability.

Supported by DBS Bank India, the DeepTech Programme addresses critical talent shortages in India’s technology ecosystem. The curriculum focuses on non-coding digital technologies, communication skills, workplace readiness, and professional development. Training is delivered through a blended learning model that incorporates artificial intelligence–enabled tools, gamified learning, and a Moodle-based learning management system. Independent assessments conducted by Mettl ensure consistent evaluation standards and job preparedness.

The inauguration was attended by senior representatives from Anudip Foundation and DBS Bank India, who engaged with learners and shared insights on career growth and digital inclusion. During the event, students presented project work that highlighted their technical capabilities and reflected the programme’s early impact in building confidence and employability.

Nekzaad Vakil, Executive Director – Group Strategic Marketing & Communications at DBS Bank India, said the initiative aligns closely with the bank’s commitment to inclusive growth. He noted that strengthening access to advanced skills can unlock sustainable career opportunities for underserved youth, while also contributing to resilient communities and long-term economic progress.

Monisha Banerjee, Chief Executive Officer of Anudip Foundation, emphasised the importance of access to opportunity. She said Anudip’s approach combines industry-aligned skills, mentoring, and job linkages to help young people from underserved communities build stable and fulfilling careers.
