Jyoti Global Plast has introduced the AeroCrop Agricultural UAS, a drone developed to strengthen precision farming by offering reliable, accurate, and high-performance spraying capability. With more than four decades of experience in precision plastic and FRP moulding, the company has expanded steadily into unmanned systems. The new platform brings its engineering and manufacturing expertise into agriculture, addressing practical spraying challenges faced by farmers nationwide.
The AeroCrop platform is built for dependable operation in field environments. It offers up to 29 minutes of flight time without payload and 22 minutes with payload, supported by a 27.5 kg maximum take-off weight. The drone includes a 10-liter chemical tank compatible with flat jet and centrifugal nozzles, enabling consistent droplet size and uniform spraying. The system can spray one acre in five to eight minutes, with the capacity to cover up to 30 acres per day, ensuring efficient chemical use and even application across varied terrain.
One of the standout features of AeroCrop is its advanced radar-assisted navigation. This system helps the aircraft maintain height, follow terrain contours, avoid obstacles, and carry out autonomous flight paths with precision. The technology makes spraying safer, more controlled, and easier to operate. With its automated spraying capability, AeroCrop helps replace manual methods, improving coverage, reducing chemical exposure to workers, limiting material wastage, and supporting more efficient farm operations. It is suited for both experienced users and farmers transitioning to mechanized spraying for the first time.
Deven Shah, Whole Time Director & CEO of Jyoti Global Plast, commented “AeroCrop reflects our long-standing commitment to reliable engineering and practical product design. We want to make precision spraying accessible and safe for farmers, without compromising durability, performance, or operational ease.”
The introduction of AeroCrop continues the company’s strategic expansion into drone systems. Earlier this year, Jyoti Global Plast launched its first day-and-night surveillance drone equipped with thermal and visual imaging for monitoring and inspection. This was followed by an industrial cleaning drone series designed for high-pressure washing of solar plants, large structures and vertical surfaces. The company recently received its first commercial order for the cleaning drone from a solar EPC firm, demonstrating early market traction.
With the addition of AeroCrop, Jyoti Global Plast strengthens its role within India’s rapidly growing UAV sector. The company aims to support adoption of reliable, efficient and cost-effective drone solutions across agriculture, surveillance, industrial cleaning and infrastructure applications.
