L&T Technology Services (BSE: 540115, NSE: LTTS), a global provider of AI, digital engineering, and R&D consulting solutions, has announced a breakthrough digital twin platform designed to advance respiratory diagnostics and lung navigation. The new system combines LTTS’ strengths in platform engineering, AI-driven medical analysis, connected health technologies, and high-end imaging with NVIDIA’s accelerated computing ecosystem to deliver fast, scalable tools that improve diagnostic accuracy and broaden access for clinicians worldwide.

Set to debut at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) 2025 conference, the platform connects directly with CT imaging systems and applies deep learning techniques to build a detailed 3D digital replica of a patient’s lungs. This model highlights airways, vascular structures, lobes, and lesions, giving doctors an immersive view of the organ. The solution draws on NVIDIA MONAI for medical image segmentation and NVIDIA TensorRT to streamline AI inference, enabling real-time visualization, more precise surgical pathway planning, and enhanced guidance during bronchoscopy procedures.

Leveraging its extensive experience in medical imaging and proprietary navigation technologies, LTTS converts traditional static scans into dynamic models that evolve alongside the patient’s condition. These interactive simulations provide realistic representations of lung anatomy, offering clinicians a powerful tool for preparing complex interventions and treating conditions such as lung cancer, COPD, and infectious respiratory diseases.

“AI is redefining the possibilities in diagnostic technologies,” said Alind Saxena, Executive Director and President of Mobility and Tech at L&T Technology Services. “By integrating our expertise in predictive diagnostics with NVIDIA’s visualization and modeling capabilities, we’ve created a digital twin platform that elevates accuracy and gives clinicians an intuitive, real-time environment for planning procedures—ultimately contributing to better patient outcomes.”

David Niewolny, Director of Business Development for Healthcare/Medical at NVIDIA, added, “Our work with LTTS highlights the impact of accelerated computing and AI in modern healthcare. LTTS is pioneering solutions that bring real-time AI and biological digital twins into clinical practice, empowering medical professionals with intelligent visualization tools that support higher-quality care.”
