The Amara Raja Skill Development Centre (ARSDC) in Mahabubnagar, an initiative of Amara Raja Advanced Cell Technologies supported by the Rajanna Foundation, has conducted its first valedictory ceremony—marking a significant milestone in its mission to equip rural youth with employable skills and long-term career opportunities. The event saw participation from MLA Devarakadra Madhusudan Reddy, District Collector Viziendira Boyi, TGIIC VC & MD K Shashanka, and senior leaders from the Amara Raja Group.

Launched on August 10, 2025, the Centre partnered with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) to enroll its first batch of 98 students from villages across Mahabubnagar district. After a rigorous selection process, the trainees completed courses in HVAC, Electrical (Domestic & Industrial), Electric Vehicle Service & Repair, and EV Battery Pack Assembly. The curriculum combined classroom sessions, hands-on lab training, and on-the-job learning.

The program achieved an exceptional placement rate of 98.85%, enabling graduates to secure stable roles in reputed industries with competitive salaries. For many participants, this marks their first formal employment—helping reduce migration and uplifting local communities. The Centre provides free training, meals, and transportation, ensuring financial constraints do not hinder access to education. All graduates earned NCVET-approved ESSCI certifications, creating pathways for career advancement and entrepreneurship.

With the next batch scheduled to begin on December 15, 2025, the Centre continues to build a skilled workforce for the region. Together with the upcoming Giga Corridor, ARSDC is set to play a key role in driving economic growth and creating a sustainable future for Mahabubnagar.
