Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd., a research-driven global pharmaceutical company, has rolled out Nebzmart® GFB Smartules® and GlenmarkAirz® FB Smartules®, the world’s first nebulized fixed-dose triple therapy for patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). These formulations combine Glycopyrronium, Formoterol, and Budesonide to reduce airway obstruction, control inflammation, and improve overall lung function.
Delivered as a single, easy-to-use nebulized treatment, the therapy reduces the complexity of managing multiple medications—offering a much-needed alternative for individuals who find Metered Dose Inhalers (MDIs) or Dry Powder Inhalers (DPIs) difficult to use. An India-based clinical study demonstrated rapid improvement in lung function and better symptom relief, with the treatment showing a favorable safety profile.
