Varroc, a prominent global Tier-1 supplier to the automotive industry, has secured a significant new contract with an electric vehicle manufacturer for the supply of high-voltage electronics used in advanced e-powertrain systems. This achievement represents an important step in the company’s ongoing expansion within the electric mobility sector and reinforces its standing as a trusted provider of cutting-edge automotive technologies around the world.
Under this multi-year agreement, Varroc will produce a complete suite of high-voltage electronic components, including inverters, onboard chargers, power electronics units, battery management systems, and DC-DC converters. These systems will be manufactured at the company’s established facility in Romania, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to global production standards. Deliveries will continue for eight years, with peak annual output valued at approximately INR 8,000 million based on projected customer volumes.

This collaboration further strengthens Varroc’s presence in the global passenger vehicle electronics arena and aligns with its strategic focus on expanding capabilities in electronics, lighting, and electric powertrain systems for major automotive brands worldwide. The company has been making substantial investments in new technologies and has developed robust competencies in electronics production, systems integration, and engineering design to address rising demand for electric mobility, connected systems, and ADAS solutions.
Varroc Engineering Ltd, established in 1988, is a global Tier-1 component group supplying e-mobility solutions, body components, lighting systems, HMI products, internal combustion powertrain parts, and advanced electronics. The company offers end-to-end development and manufacturing support for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and off-highway equipment. In FY25, the group reported revenue of ₹81,718 million from continuing operations.
