Technip Energies India has received the ISO 50001:2018 certification for its Energy Management System (EnMS), marking a significant step forward in its long-term sustainability and operational performance agenda. This achievement positions the company as a strong industry benchmark, reinforcing its commitment to high energy standards, innovation, and responsible operations. It also strengthens stakeholder trust through transparent energy practices and supports the company’s standing as a reliable partner in supply chains and a contributor to India’s broader clean-energy transition.
The certification reflects the robust Energy Management System integrated across Technip Energies India’s operations—including project execution, engineering, design, procurement, construction management, and manufacturing—spanning offices in Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, Gandhinagar, and its Modular Manufacturing Yard in Dahej.
Davendra Kumar, Managing Director of Technip Energies India, stated, “This certification is more than a regulatory achievement. It enhances our resilience, aligns with India’s national energy goals, and underscores our leadership in sustainable engineering. It reinforces our role in driving efficiency and sustainability throughout the energy value chain.”
The certification follows a rigorous implementation programme involving detailed energy assessments, reviews across multiple sites, capacity-building initiatives, and enhancements to processes across the organization. Technip Energies India has already achieved notable gains in reducing its environmental impact. In 2023, two key offices transitioned entirely to renewable power, contributing to 53 percent of the company’s electricity usage in India coming from green sources in 2024.
Earlier this year, the company commissioned a 750 kWp rooftop solar installation at its Modular Manufacturing Yard in Dahej, Gujarat. The system is expected to generate around 1,000 MWh of renewable power annually and deliver nearly a 50 percent reduction in Scope 2 emissions at the facility, which plays an important role in delivering advanced and sustainable industrial solutions.
The company continues to prioritise responsible energy consumption and operational controls focused on boosting efficiency. These initiatives are designed to strengthen internal performance while enabling employees and customers to lower their environmental impact, reinforcing a collective commitment to a low-carbon future.
