Jyoti CNC Automation Ltd, one of India’s leading machine tool manufacturers, announced the inauguration of its new production facilities at its wholly owned subsidiary, Huron Graffenstaden, located in Strasbourg, France. The expansion marks a major strategic step in the company’s global growth roadmap, enhancing Huron’s production capacity by 2X.
This commissioning reinforces Jyoti CNC’s commitment to strengthening its European operations and responding to rising demand for high-precision machining solutions across global markets. The newly inaugurated facility will allow Huron to scale its production of large and complex milling centres, ensuring faster delivery, advanced capabilities, and greater manufacturing flexibility.
The development is particularly significant given Huron Graffenstaden’s rich industrial legacy, which spans two centuries, beginning in 1825 with its early work in precision mechanics, progressing through decades of contributions to railway engineering, watchmaking, steam locomotives, machine tools, and later becoming a world-recognized name in milling technology. Since Jyoti CNC’s acquisition of Huron in 2007, the partnership has continued to modernize operations while preserving the brand’s heritage of engineering excellence.
The inauguration of the new facility in 2025 represents a defining moment for the Franco-Indian collaboration. It follows Huron’s relocation and consolidation at the Eschau site in 2019, designed specifically for the production of very large milling centres.
Speaking on the milestone, Jyoti CNC Automation Ltd stated that the expansion not only aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy but also strengthens its global manufacturing footprint, enabling it to serve customers with increased scale, innovation, and technological depth. With this new facility operational, Jyoti CNC and Huron Graffenstaden are poised to accelerate their contribution to the global machine tool industry, combining Indian agility with French engineering heritage.
