Yutong Bus, a major player in the global electric bus market, introduced its new EV Long-Life Technology at Busworld Europe 2025, along with a lineup of electric vehicles and its Link+ fleet management system. The company took home seven awards at the event, receiving recognition in categories such as safety, environmental performance, and design.
Among the highlights, Yutong’s U15 model earned the “Grand Award Bus”, with Daimler’s ECITARO and EBUSCO 3.0 following in second and third place. The U15 also won “Label of Excellence” awards for Safety, Ecology, and Design. In the coach category, the T14E secured the “Grand Award Coach”, while Yutong’s IC12E finished third and received the “Label of Excellence Ecology Coach.”
Yutong’s Link+ platform won the Gold Prize in the Busworld Digital Awards, ahead of ZF’s Bus Connect (Silver) and Bosch’s Secure Central Gateway (Bronze). Yutong unveiled four new battery-electric vehicle series at Busworld Europe 2025, each tailored to specific transit requirements—from city commuting to long-distance and luxury travel. The lineup reflected the company’s technological depth and growing focus on sustainable, high-performance transportation solutions for diverse mobility environments.
The T14E, a 14-meter premium electric coach, stood out for its blend of range, comfort, and innovation. Equipped with 621 or 704 kWh battery packs, it can travel up to 850 kilometers on a single charge. Designed for passenger comfort, the coach features 61 seats, a spacious 8.5 m³ luggage compartment, a surround sound system, and NFC-based digital key access. Its advanced suspension, supported by a Continuous Damping Control (CDC) system and air suspension, ensures smooth rides and includes features to enhance accessibility for all passengers.
For intercity routes, the new IC12E showcased exceptional energy efficiency and performance. Powered by next-generation high-density batteries, it consumes just 0.67 kWh/km under SORT2 conditions and delivers a range of up to 675 kilometers. The model also offers a 25% climbing capability and ultra-fast charging, reaching full charge from 12% in approximately 72 minutes using dual liquid-cooled chargers. This combination of efficiency and power positions the IC12E as a benchmark for long-range, sustainable intercity travel.
On the urban front, Yutong introduced the 15-meter U15 city bus, capable of carrying up to 90 passengers and achieving a range of up to 850 kilometers under SORT2 conditions. Integrated with the company’s Link+ fleet management system, it allows real-time monitoring and optimization of operational data to improve efficiency and safety. Complementing the U15, the newly displayed U11DD and U12 models further expanded Yutong’s city bus offerings, reinforcing the company’s commitment to delivering smart, clean, and versatile public transport solutions for the European market.
Yutong’s new EV Long-Life Technology tackles a key challenge in electric transport—battery longevity. Designed to match the lifespan of the vehicle, the system is built to last 15 years or up to 1.5 million kilometers. The goal is to reduce total lifecycle costs, increase operational reliability, and support sustainability targets. This breakthrough stems from Yutong’s in-house battery, motor, and control system innovations, aimed at improving safety and durability while cutting environmental impact.
Beyond vehicles, Yutong is scaling its service infrastructure across the region. The Link+ fleet management platform delivers a full-cycle solution covering operations, maintenance, and remote diagnostics. Meanwhile, its EnRoute+ service brand includes parts availability, maintenance support, and mobile repair services.
Yutong has set up a central parts hub in France, backed by 16 local warehouses and a network of 32 authorized service centers across Europe. Around 90 trained service staff support operations, offering custom plans like full-service contracts and on-site technical assistance.Beyond vehicles, Yutong is scaling its service infrastructure across the region.
