TACC Limited, a subsidiary of HEG Limited and part of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has entered into a Technical Collaboration Agreement with Ceylon Graphene Technologies (CGT), a subsidiary of LOLC Holdings PLC and a global leader in graphene solutions. The partnership is aimed at fast-tracking the commercialization and widespread adoption of graphene and its derivatives, bringing together the expertise of two established business groups.
Under the agreement, CGT will contribute its decade of experience in graphene research, scale-up, and application development, while TACC will bring its deep knowledge of graphite and carbon technologies, proprietary graphene synthesis processes, and application-driven innovations. This collaboration will create an advanced foundation for industrializing graphene production and delivering innovative material solutions.
TACC has already been working on multiple sectoral collaborations that highlight the potential of graphene. In construction, it is developing graphene-enhanced concrete with the National Council for Cement and Building Materials (NCB) and the Central Road Research Institute (CRRI). In textiles, it has joined forces with Birla Cellulose (a Grasim Industries division) and RSWM Limited to pioneer graphene-based fabrics. These initiatives underline TACC’s commitment to driving the next wave of material science innovations.
The joint effort will focus on engineering design, production scale-up, commissioning, and product validation. Both companies will also conduct feasibility studies with emphasis on commercial viability and environmental standards. The partnership aims to accelerate product trials and market deployment of graphene technologies in construction, textiles, coatings, energy storage, rubber, and mobility solutions — positioning India as a key player in next-generation material advancements.
