The Indo-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IICCI) is set to host the third edition of its flagship initiative, Italian Tech in India, on the 19th and 20th of September 2025 at Nehru Centre in Worli, Mumbai. Following successful editions in Delhi and Pune, the upcoming edition will once again highlight the strong industrial partnership between India and Italy, with ITALIAN TECH in INDIA 2025 serving as a showcase of technologies and products manufactured in India by Italian companies across sectors of strategic relevance for Indo-Italian business relations: Agri & Food Technologies, Automotive & Auto-Components, Infra, Building & Construction, and Machinery & Engineering.
Organised in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in New Delhi, the Consulate General of Italy in Mumbai, and supported by Axis Bank along with Invest India, Italian Tech in India has established itself as a unique platform for Indo-Italian business collaborations. Italian companies that have been manufacturing in India will present how their advanced technologies, backed by Italian expertise and tailored to the Indian context, are making significant contributions to the country’s industrial progress.
The 2025 edition will feature the participation of twenty-six Italian companies, comprising seventeen exhibitors and nine other participants, offering solutions across four vital sectors: automotive and auto-components, machinery and manufacturing, agri and food technologies, and engineering for energy, infrastructure, and construction. Together, these sectors represent India’s immediate priorities as well as its long-term vision for industrial transformation and Viksit Bharat 2047. By combining Italian innovation with India’s manufacturing ecosystem, the event will create new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and sustainable growth.
Beyond being a technology showcase, Italian Tech in India has evolved into a platform for meaningful dialogue and recognition. The two-day program will include a curated display of Italian technologies and live demonstrations, alongside the high-level business summit titled “Bridging Common Horizons,” where leading Italian and Indian family-run businesses will share insights on sustainability, leadership, and growth. Another highlight will be the Impresa Awards 2025, celebrating excellence in innovation, sustainability, CSR, business growth, leadership, and brand value. The event will also host IICCI’s 59th Annual General Meeting, a landmark gathering for Indo-Italian business leaders to reflect on progress and chart the future course of bilateral engagement.
Speaking about the significance of this edition, Claudio Maffioletti, CEO and Secretary General of IICCI, remarked, “Italian Tech in India has become the bridge connecting Italian know-how with India’s industrial ambition. With the third edition in Mumbai, we are strengthening business ties and co-creating solutions that will shape the future of manufacturing and sustainable growth.”
