PTC Industries Limited, a prominent manufacturer of high-performance materials and engineered components for aerospace and defence applications, has announced a major order exceeding ₹100 Crores from BrahMos Aerospace Private Limited. The order involves the supply of crucial titanium castings for BrahMos, known for producing the world’s fastest supersonic cruise missile.
PTC has been collaborating with BrahMos since 2019, providing specialized titanium components and raw materials like titanium mill forms. This new order marks a significant milestone in the partnership, demonstrating the shared commitment to India’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative, which aims to foster indigenisation and technological self-reliance.
Over the years, PTC has earned the trust of key defence organizations, supplying mission-critical components to entities such as Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and BrahMos. The company has consistently delivered high-quality materials, supporting India’s push for self-reliance in aerospace and defence manufacturing. Beyond its domestic success, PTC also exports titanium and superalloy castings to global aerospace and defence original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) such as Safran, Dassault Aviation, BAE Systems, and Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
Speaking on the achievement, Sachin Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of PTC Industries, said, “Receiving this significant order from BrahMos Aerospace is a testament to our manufacturing excellence and technological prowess. It strengthens our long-standing commitment to India’s strategic sectors and enhances our role in the country’s defence programmes. This order also underscores our ongoing mission to build cutting-edge materials and component manufacturing capabilities in India.”
With over 60 years of experience, PTC Industries is a leader in producing precision metal components for critical applications. Through its subsidiary Aerolloy Technologies Limited, PTC manufactures titanium and superalloy castings for aerospace and defence applications, both for the domestic market and export. The company is further expanding its capabilities with a multi-million-dollar investment in a state-of-the-art facility in the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor. This facility will house an integrated plant for producing aerospace-grade ingots, billets, bars, plates, and sheets from critical and strategic materials.
