JSW Sarbloh Motors, a subsidiary of JSW Defence Private Limited under the JSW Group, has entered into a joint venture with Tomcar USA, a globally recognized producer of high-performance all-terrain vehicles (ATVs). The collaboration will focus on local production of the Tomcar TX range of ATVs in India.

This initiative represents a significant step by the JSW Group to support India’s mission of developing indigenous tactical mobility solutions for the Armed Forces, Central Armed Police Forces, state police, and strategic industries requiring rugged and extreme off-road platforms. Under the agreement, JSW Sarbloh Motors will manufacture, assemble, and support the TX series at its Chandigarh facility. The first units built in India are expected to roll out by early 2026, with upcoming trials and demonstrations scheduled for defence and paramilitary organizations.

Parth Jindal, representing the JSW Group, highlighted that the venture underscores the company’s commitment to strengthening India’s defence capabilities. He emphasized the TX platform’s durability, adaptability, and safety features, and noted JSW’s vision of blending advanced global technology with domestic production to reinforce national security and boost job creation.

Jaskirat Vladimir Singh Nagra, CEO and Founder Director of JSW Sarbloh Motors, described the collaboration as a strategic alignment of vision, aimed at delivering world-class, modular, and reliable tactical mobility platforms to India’s defence and industrial sectors.

Ram Zarchi, Founder and Principal of Tomcar USA, said the partnership marks a key milestone in Tomcar’s entry into India, combining its decades of engineering expertise with JSW’s manufacturing excellence. He added that the alliance strengthens India’s tactical mobility capabilities and extends Tomcar’s global presence, particularly in right-hand-drive markets.

Mark W Farage, Interim CEO of Tomcar USA, expressed confidence that the venture will bring proven Tomcar platforms to the Indian Army and other sectors. He noted potential applications beyond defence, including mining, agriculture, border patrol, timber, and disaster response, ensuring high levels of performance, dependability, and operational safety across multiple industries.

Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Tomcar is known worldwide for building ultra-durable, versatile all-terrain vehicles designed for military, industrial, and commercial use. The TX series stands out for its unmatched endurance, heavy payload capacity, and operational flexibility, backed by decades of battlefield-tested engineering. Tomcar vehicles integrate the capabilities of ATVs, pickup trucks, and utility vehicles, featuring fully welded roll cages, robust frames, and a lifetime warranty on the chassis.

Established in 2015 by Jaskirat Vladimir Singh Nagra, JSW Sarbloh Motors addresses India’s defence and mobility needs with advanced indigenous and co-developed platforms. Acquired by JSW Defence in 2023, the company, through its subsidiary JSW Gecko Motors, manufactures and supplies the amphibious ATOR SMV N1200 (Kapidhwaj) to Indian defence forces.
