DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited has secured a contract valued at INR 99.67 lakh from the Indian Army, Ministry of Defence, for the supply of drones and establishment of a cutting-edge Drone Lab. This project aims to significantly boost the Army’s training capabilities by providing hands-on experience in reconnaissance, surveillance, and First Person View (FPV) drone operations.

The contract includes delivering a variety of drones such as Combat-Ready FPV Drones (10-inch and 7-inch models), Surveillance Drones, Training Drones, and customized Nano Drones. Alongside, the company will set up a modern Drone Lab equipped with integrated drone systems. This initiative is designed to modernize combat engineering training, enhance real-time battlefield awareness, and improve tactical effectiveness within the regiment.

This project builds upon DroneAcharya’s previous successful assignment valued at INR 55 lakh, which involved upgrading a Drone Lab at another Indian Army site. That earlier work included supplying multiple drones for defense purposes and conducting DGCA-approved pilot training, including a Train-the-Trainer program, further strengthening the skills of military personnel.

FPV drones, known for their rapid maneuverability and live video transmission, are becoming essential tools for modern military missions. Incorporating these into Army training programs is expected to raise operational preparedness and mission success rates.

Prateek Srivastava, Founder and Managing Director of DroneAcharya, commented: “Technology is a key force multiplier in today’s defense environment. By introducing drones into military training, we are providing our armed forces with advanced tools that support better strategic decisions, operational efficiency, and safety.” He added, “Our partnership goes beyond upgrading facilities — it’s about strengthening India’s defense capabilities and preparing combat engineers for the future battlefield.”

Based in Pune, DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited is a prominent provider of drone and GIS solutions, serving sectors such as defense, agriculture, infrastructure, and emergency services.
