FAULHABER is reinforcing its presence in the Asian market by opening a dedicated sales office in Pune, India. Officially set to open on August 8, 2025, the new branch marks a strategic step in the company’s ongoing global expansion. The office will be led by Regional Sales Manager Sachin Kurlekar, who, along with a local team, will oversee operations and customer relations throughout India. This new location will operate as part of the wider Asia-Pacific region, managed by Vester Tan.

The decision to open an Indian office reflects the company’s recognition of the country’s increasing role in the global high-tech industry. “India is evolving quickly, with a fast-growing economy and expanding technological capabilities. Being present locally allows us to respond faster and build stronger connections with our customers,” said Kurlekar. The Indian team will include specialists in motion control and technical sales, offering hands-on support and consultation across various industries.

With this investment, FAULHABER aims to deepen its reach in key sectors such as medical equipment, robotics, and aerospace—areas that require precision miniature drive systems. Tailored system solutions are becoming more central to FAULHABER’s business strategy.

The company is focused on delivering complete, application-specific drive systems that meet complex technical requirements. “We’re committed to forming lasting relationships with Indian companies and offering solutions that are adapted to local demands,” Mr Kurlekar added.

Although the new office will serve the Indian market, all products will continue to be manufactured at FAULHABER’s European facilities. Indian customers will have full access to the complete product range, including miniature motors, servo drives, and motion control systems—delivered with the same level of precision and reliability the company is known for worldwide.

FAULHABER is a leader in producing compact, high-performance drive systems, including brushless motors, DC micromotors, encoders, and motion controllers. These products are widely used in advanced applications across sectors like medical devices, factory automation, optics, telecommunications, space exploration, and robotics.

With drive units ranging from robust 200 mNm motors to ultra-compact models as small as 1.9 mm in diameter, the company offers an extensive catalog that can be customized in millions of combinations to suit exact application needs. This modular approach also supports the development of customer-specific configurations, making FAULHABER a preferred partner for technically demanding projects around the globe.
