Renault Group has named Duncan Minto as the Interim Chief Executive Officer of Renault SA. He will hold the role until a permanent CEO is appointed. Minto, who currently serves as the Group’s Chief Financial Officer, will work closely with Jean-Dominique Senard, who will assume the role of Chairman of Renault sas, the Group’s operational entity, during this transitional phase.
With nearly three decades at Renault, Minto brings extensive financial expertise and in-depth knowledge of the Group’s global operations. The Board’s Governance and Remuneration Committee is actively progressing the search for a new CEO.
Renault Group is scheduled to release its half-year financial results on July 31. Duncan Minto, born in 1975 and a graduate of the University of St Andrews in Scotland, began his journey with Renault in 1997 in the UK. In 2001, he moved to the Group’s Finance Department in France, managing investor relations.
He later held key roles including Finance Director of Renault-Nissan Portugal, Managing Director of Renault Ireland, CFO of the Asia-Pacific region, VP Finance for Group Control Analysis, CFO of Dacia in 2022, and CFO of Alpine in 2023. He assumed the role of Renault Group CFO and joined the Leadership Team on March 1, 2025.
