TT Limited has officially launched commercial production at its new manufacturing facility in Howrah, West Bengal, starting in July 2025. The factory, located in the West Bengal Hosiery Park, spans 1.25 lakh square feet and is strategically positioned in a region known for its strong knitting cluster and skilled labor. The location’s proximity to Kolkata and major ports further facilitates ease of export.
The new facility will focus on producing innerwear and casual wear, catering to both the expanding domestic market and new export opportunities. This includes the benefits arising from the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the UK and the upcoming Bilateral Trade Agreement with the USA, which is expected to offer India a competitive tariff advantage over China.
Once fully operational by Q3 2025, the plant aims to produce 3.5 to 4 million pieces annually, with plans to scale production in the future. The company anticipates that the facility will also serve as a key distribution hub for Eastern India. There is potential to double its production capacity in the next few months, depending on the performance and stabilization of existing operations.
To meet export quality standards and certification requirements, TT Ltd has invested in state-of-the-art machinery sourced from well-established international manufacturers. The company has also registered to obtain SEDEX certification, ensuring the facility meets international compliance and quality standards from day one.
TT Limited is currently conducting a Rights Issue of Equity Shares at a price of Rs. 12 per share. The issue, which opened on July 17, 2025, will close on July 31, 2025. The Letter of Offer is available on the company’s website, as well as through the stock exchanges and the lead manager.
