Dassault Systèmes announced that Nepal-based electric mobility startup Yatri Motorcycles has implemented the 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the cloud to design and build its next generation of electric two-wheelers and EV infrastructure. Seeking a unified and scalable system to drive product development and innovation across Nepal, Yatri selected the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to consolidate design, simulation, and manufacturing processes into a single digital environment. The result: increased development efficiency and a 40% reduction in time-to-market.
Leveraging tools such as SIMULIA applications including Abaqus and fe-safe, the Yatri team applied simulation-driven engineering to evaluate fatigue and structural durability early in the design process. This approach enabled them to cut down the P2 electric scooter’s minimum viable product (MVP) timeline from 12 months to just 7 months, significantly lowering development costs and resource use. The cloud-based solution also enables real-time collaboration across Yatri’s distributed teams and supports rapid scaling—critical factors for startups navigating fast-paced electric mobility markets.
