Kirloskar Brothers Limited (KBL), a leading name in fluid management solutions, has received the Golden Peacock Award for its outstanding contribution to environment management. The honour reflects KBL’s consistent efforts toward adopting sustainable methods and minimizing its ecological footprint.

The recognition was announced during the 26th International Conference on Environment Management and Climate Change, hosted by the Institute of Directors in Bangalore on June 26–27, 2025. The forum attracted participation from top industry figures, government officials, and environmental experts, all focused on addressing pressing climate issues through innovation and collaboration.

KBL stood out among 573 contenders for its initiatives aimed at reducing emissions, improving energy efficiency, and implementing green technologies across its facilities. The award was presented by HD Kumaraswamy, Union Cabinet Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel.
