SEMI, the global association for the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing industries, has announced new strategic partnerships for SEMICON® West 2025. The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA), Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC), and Visit Phoenix are joining forces as Alliance Sponsors to bring SEMICON West to Phoenix for the first time. The event will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center from October 7-9. Early-bird registration is open until June 27.
“Hosting SEMICON West in Phoenix underscores Arizona’s growing importance in the semiconductor industry,” said Joe Stockunas, president of SEMI Americas. “With strong support from state and local government agencies and organizations such as ACA, GPEC, and Visit Phoenix, Arizona has attracted leading companies like Intel, TSMC, and Amkor, cementing its role as a semiconductor hub. As the global semiconductor market heads toward $1 trillion in revenue, Arizona is poised to lead in innovation and growth.”
SEMICON West gathers industry leaders to explore essential issues like advanced manufacturing, supply chain resilience, sustainability, and workforce development. The event theme, Stronger Together – Shaping a Sustainable Future in Talent, Technology, and Trade, reflects the collaborative spirit that will shape the future of the semiconductor sector. SEMICON West 2025 is expected to be the largest exhibition in two decades, with 25% more exhibition space than the previous year. The exhibition sold out in November 2024, with over 285 companies still on the waiting list.
“As North America’s leader in semiconductor investments, Arizona is the ideal venue to bring together industry innovators and drive the future of semiconductor technology,” said Sandra Watson, President and CEO of the Arizona Commerce Authority. “We’re excited to partner with SEMI and our local organizations to make SEMICON West 2025 a landmark event.”
