Mercedes-Benz India has launched the EQS 580 4MATIC ‘Celebration Edition’ to mark a significant milestone in the growth of its Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) portfolio. The luxury carmaker also continues to expand its presence in India, inaugurating four new high-end facilities in Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai, and Jammu over the last two weeks, totaling 11 new touchpoints for 2025.
The EQS 580 ‘Celebration Edition’ showcases Mercedes-Benz’s continued leadership in the BEV market, underlined by a 73% year-to-date growth in BEV sales as of May 2025. This edition celebrates the success of the EQS range, including the EQS sedan and SUV, the EQS Maybach SUV, and the G 580 with EQ technology. The EQS 580 ‘Celebration Edition’ introduces premium features, particularly enhancing rear-seat comfort for customers who seek the utmost in luxury. The model comes with multi-contour rear seats, a Chauffeur Package, luxurious Nappa leather upholstery, and advanced MBUX augmented reality navigation.

This exclusive facility enables customers to design their vehicles using Mercedes-Benz’s MANUFAKTUR program, offering a tailored configuration experience with expert guidance. The Adyar showroom is the latest in a series of high-end retail outlets, following the launch of similar boutique experiences in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad.
The ‘Atelier Experience’ offers an immersive and interactive customization process, where customers can choose from a range of premium options and features for their Mercedes-Benz vehicles. It provides a seamless blend of physical and digital interactions, allowing customers to personalize their cars to a level previously unseen in the Indian market.

The EQS 580 4MATIC ‘Celebration Edition’ is priced at INR 1.30 Crores (Ex-showroom India) and is limited to just 50 units, making it an exclusive offering for discerning customers. This special edition continues Mercedes-Benz’s commitment to providing high-performance, luxurious, and innovative electric mobility solutions, while reinforcing its position as a pioneer in the luxury BEV market in India.
The luxury carmaker’s expansion in India is not limited to metros but extends to emerging mini-metros such as Kanpur, Patna, Varanasi, Udaipur, and Bhopal. In 2025, Mercedes-Benz plans to launch 30 new or upgraded luxury touchpoints, with 19 more coming in the next five months.
Mercedes-Benz’s evolving network strategy also includes the opening of more exclusive lounges and experience centers. After the success of the Maybach Lounge in Hyderabad and the G-Lounge in New Delhi, the brand is now offering the ‘Atelier Experience’ in Mumbai and Chennai.
