PETRONAS TVS Racing Ready for the 17th INSC with Elite Rider Line-Up and Enhanced Race Machines

PETRONAS TVS Racing, India’s pioneering factory racing team, is all set to make its mark once again at the 2025 FMSCI Indian National Supercross Championship (INSC), starting in Vadodara on May 23–24, 2025. With a legacy of excellence dating back to 1982, the team returns after a commanding 2024 season, bringing a refreshed focus, upgraded race machines, and an elite rider roster.

The team’s line-up features seasoned champions and skilled riders, including Rugved Barguje, Ikshan Shanbhag, and Prajwal V, who will compete in the Group A – Foreign Open SX1 category. They will be joined by Imran Pasha, Banteilang Jyrwa, and D Sachin in the Group B – Indian Expert category. Rising stars Jayden Wandame Nongkhlaw and Shailesh Kumar will also compete in the Indian Novice Group B.

For the 2025 season, PETRONAS TVS Racing will field its upgraded TR 300X (Group A – up to 500cc) and TR 200X (Group B – up to 260cc) race machines. These bikes feature cutting-edge enhancements, including advanced camshaft and cylinder head designs for improved mid-range torque and high-RPM performance. With better suspension and optimized ergonomics, these machines are built to offer superior control, traction, and agility, giving TVS riders a distinct edge on the track.
