RenewSys, India’s pioneer in integrated solar PV module manufacturing, has announced a significant capacity expansion at its Khopoli facility with the addition of eight new encapsulant production lines. This move is designed to meet the growing global and domestic demand for high-performance encapsulants in the solar industry. With seven lines already in operation and four more set to launch in 2025, the company will soon operate a total of 19 advanced manufacturing lines. This expansion is part of RenewSys’ strategy to reach an installed manufacturing capacity of 30 GW, reinforcing its position as a leader among Indian encapsulant producers.

RenewSys is already a market leader in encapsulants and backsheets, with an existing encapsulant manufacturing capacity of 9 GW.
