Refroid Technologies has introduced the SentraFlo Series India’s first domestically developed Liquid-to-Liquid Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) tailored for Direct-to-Chip Liquid Cooling (DCLC). This development marks a significant advancement in the country’s data center infrastructure, aimed at supporting high-density AI and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads. The SentraFlo line is designed for both hyperscale and enterprise-level applications, featuring a comprehensive ecosystem that includes CDUs, rack manifolds, and a secondary fluid network (SFN) architecture.
The SentraFlo Series is built for scalability, offering cooling capacities ranging from 200 kW to 2 MW. These systems are equipped with configurable components such as motors, brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHEs), sensors, and filters. With advanced diagnostics and monitoring tools—including redundant sensors for pressure, temperature, turbidity, and pH—the CDUs enable real-time system health tracking and allow for concurrent maintenance without downtime. Dew Point Control ensures dry environments, preventing false leakage alerts, while 25-micron filtration maintains coolant purity with minimal pressure drop.
Constructed using SS304L/SS316L stainless steel for all wetted components and fitted with tri-clamp connections, the SentraFlo Series prioritizes durability and ease of maintenance. Key features include hot-swappable sensors, redundant motors, controllers, and an integrated 10-inch HMI interface with a remote monitoring dashboard. Compatibility with protocols such as SNMP, TCP/IP, and BACnet allows seamless integration into autonomous or dark data center operations.
According to Refroid’s CEO, Satya Bhavaraju, the launch positions India as a serious contender in the global liquid cooling market. CTO Srikanth Kanduri emphasized that every element of the SentraFlo Series reflects a design approach grounded in performance, reliability, and intelligence. Smart features like reinforcement learning for Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) optimization and coolant auto-profiling support mission-critical deployment demands.
The SentraFlo systems are scheduled to be commercially available by the end of June 2025. The offering will include full integration with supporting rack manifolds and SFN plumbing infrastructure, providing a complete, scalable, and efficient cooling solution for modern data centers.
Headquartered in Hyderabad, India, Refroid Technologies is a pioneer in the liquid cooling space. Specializing in advanced cooling solutions such as DCLC and Liquid Immersion Cooling, Refroid’s innovations are designed to improve energy efficiency, achieving a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of less than 1.05.
