Jeh Aerospace has unveiled the Jeh Center of Aerospace Skill (JCAS), a cutting-edge training facility designed to advance India’s aerospace manufacturing workforce. The center was inaugurated by Pratyush Kumar, a Board Member at Jeh Aerospace, with key industry figures such as Joe D’Martino, CEO of Solestra Group, and John Lynde, Vice President at GS Precision, in attendance.
Despite India’s vast and capable engineering workforce, many professionals lack the specialized expertise required for aerospace roles. JCAS aims to bridge this skills gap by equipping machinists, assemblers, inspectors, and engineers with the technical knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to thrive in the global aerospace manufacturing sector.
The JCAS facility offers a comprehensive three-phase training program that includes classroom instruction to cover the theoretical foundation and core principles of aerospace manufacturing, practical experience with hands-on training using specialized equipment and dummy components to build technical skills, and on-the-job training that provides real-world, supervised experience on advanced production machinery and actual aerospace parts. Each training track is tailored to the specific role and development level of the individual, ensuring a targeted and effective learning experience. The initiative is guided by Jeh Aerospace’s founders, Vishal R Sanghavi, CEO, and Venkatesh Mudragalla, COO, who have previously led joint ventures with major U.S. aerospace OEMs alongside the Tata Group in India.
In their remarks, Mr Sanghavi and Mr Mudragalla emphasized, “The Jeh Center of Aerospace Skill reflects our long-term commitment to developing a highly skilled, globally competitive workforce. By investing in specialized training and fostering a culture of excellence, we aim to not only empower individuals but also drive the future of aerospace manufacturing in India.”
What sets JCAS apart as a game-changer in aerospace training is its integration with Jeh Aerospace’s production processes. This closed-loop model enables continuous feedback from the shop floor, allowing the training program to be swiftly adjusted based on real-time production challenges and needs. This dynamic approach ensures that the curriculum remains aligned with industry requirements and performance expectations.
While many startups focus on rapid growth, Jeh Aerospace’s investment in an in-house skill development center demonstrates a commitment to quality, sustainability, and a forward-thinking approach. Through JCAS, the company continues to strengthen its position as a leading player in India’s expanding aerospace sector.
Jeh Aerospace specializes in the precision manufacturing of aerospace and defense components, tools, and assemblies. With its headquarters in the U.S. and advanced manufacturing facilities in Hyderabad, India, the company produces high-quality parts that meet global standards, addressing critical supply chain challenges, particularly at the Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels. Jeh Aerospace was founded by Vishal R Sanghavi and Venkatesh Mudragalla and is supported by the global venture capital firm General Catalyst.
