The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) is hosting the Sustainable Mobility Pavilion at the 3rd edition of India Energy Week (IEW) 2025, which runs from February 11 to 14 at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi. This pavilion highlights the latest advancements in green mobility from the Indian automobile sector, emphasizing the theme “People-Centric Mobility Ecosystem.”
The pavilion displays 15 innovative vehicles and technologies, representing various fuel and powertrain solutions, including Flex Fuel, Gas, Compressed Bio Gas, Electric, and Hydrogen. Leading OEM members such as Maruti Suzuki, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Hyundai, Toyota Kirloskar, Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor Company, Bajaj Auto, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, and Suzuki Motorcycle India are showcasing their production-ready vehicles, underscoring their commitment to a sustainable, decarbonized transportation future.
Prashant K Banerjee, Executive Director of SIAM, highlighted the role of the Indian auto industry in driving the shift toward cleaner transport. “The Sustainable Mobility Pavilion at IEW 2025 showcases our industry’s determination to accelerate the transition to greener transportation solutions, with a focus on multiple energy pathways. India Energy Week 2025, held under the G20 Presidency, is a premier event that brings together key energy and mobility stakeholders. The event will feature 20 Foreign Energy Ministers and Deputy Ministers, Heads of international organizations, over 90 CEOs of leading global energy companies, and more than 70,000 delegates from 120 countries.
SIAM’s participation in this event demonstrates the automobile industry’s commitment to helping India achieve its Net Zero targets by 2070.
