Apollo Tyres unveiled its latest range of radial tyres at BAUMA ConExpo India 2024, a premier trade show for construction, mining, and infrastructure machinery. The company introduced the Apollo Terra Pro 1045, India’s first steel-belted radial tyre designed specifically for backhoe loaders, and the Apollo Terra MPT 1, an all-steel radial tyre developed for defence vehicles and multipurpose trucks.
The Terra Pro 1045 is engineered for durability and performance in demanding conditions. It addresses the need for puncture resistance and dependable traction, thanks to its self-cleaning tread pattern with multiple biting edges that minimize slippage on wet and dry surfaces.
The Apollo Terra Pro 1045 features a steel-belted radial construction, which enhances fuel efficiency and reduces rolling resistance. This design helps the tyre perform better under load and across various terrains, making it an excellent choice for tough conditions.

The Apollo Terra MPT 1 radial tyre is engineered specifically for military vehicles and multi-role trucks, offering exceptional reliability in extreme conditions. It features an S-shaped tread pattern and open shoulder grooves that improve traction and allow for effective self-cleaning in both forward and reverse motions.
The Apollo Terra SS-5 is tailored for skid steer machines, featuring a flatter tread profile for optimal load distribution. It includes interlocking tie bars to enhance puncture resistance and has a high net-to-gross tread depth, which extends its lifespan. This heavy-duty tyre is built to withstand the harshest conditions, making it suitable for tasks like scrap handling.
Finally, the Apollo Terra MT is designed for heavy-duty 60–70-tonne dumper trucks. This tyre boasts a robust carcass and high air volume for superior load-bearing capacity. An additional rubber layer is integrated into the tread to improve mileage, ensuring reliable performance even under extreme conditions.
