Hero Future Energies to Invest ₹11,000 Crore in Karnataka for Renewable Energy Projects

Hero Future Energies Private Ltd (HFEPL) has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Karnataka government to Hero Future Energies invest ₹11,000 crore in renewable energy, green hydrogen, and related derivatives projects. The investments, set to roll out between 2025-26, aim to create approximately 3,000 jobs in the state.

With a renewable energy portfolio exceeding 6 GW, HFEPL plans to extend its decarbonization efforts into sectors like transportation and heavy engineering. Highlighting Karnataka’s favorable policies and abundant green resources, HFEPL leadership praised the state as an ideal hub for driving sustainable innovation.

The Karnataka government has committed to providing necessary clearances, approvals, and incentives to facilitate the timely execution of these projects. The MoU was signed during the London Roadshows in the presence of MB Patil, Karnataka’s Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development.
