NHPC, a state-owned power company, has entered into a collaboration with the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) to promote clean energy solutions, with a focus on green hydrogen and sustainable financing. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two organizations in Faridabad on Thursday, as announced by the Ministry of Power.
The partnership aims to foster innovation in clean energy, particularly through agrivoltaics, green hydrogen technologies, and sustainable financing models. By combining renewable energy with agricultural practices, NHPC and GGGI seek to explore emerging technologies and drive investments in green projects, supporting India’s climate targets and its commitment to renewable energy under the Paris Agreement.
