Schneider Electric Infrastructure Reports 27% Rise in Q2 Profit to Rs 54 Crore

Schneider Electric Infrastructure Ltd (SEIL) announced a 27% increase in its net profit for the September 2024 quarter, reaching Rs 54.27 crore, up from Rs 42.86 crore in the same period last year. This growth was driven by higher income, as total revenue rose to Rs 608.64 crore, compared to Rs 497.64 crore in the second quarter of the previous fiscal year.

Additionally, the company’s board approved the appointment of Chinmoy Das as Additional Director and Whole-Time Director (WTD) for a three-year term, effective November 14, 2024. This decision follows a recommendation from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. SEIL also confirmed the resignation of Amol Phatak, Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, due to a new role within the Schneider Electric Group.
