Alpex Solar to Present Innovations at RE+ 2024 in Anaheim

Alpex Solar Ltd., headquartered in Greater Noida, will participate in RE+ 2024, a leading global event for renewable energy, from September 10th to 12th at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The company’s CEO, Aditya Sehgal, will spearhead their presence at the event.

RE+ 2024 is a prominent forum for showcasing advancements in clean energy technologies, including solar, wind, and energy storage. The event, marking its 20th anniversary this year, attracts industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to discuss trends and network. Indian renewable energy companies such as Adani Group, Borosil, EMMVEE Group, and Waaree are also participating.

Alpex Solar, listed on NSE Emerge, has announced plans to boost its photovoltaic module production capacity to 2.4 GW with a new facility in Kosi Kotwan, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The company is also considering entering the solar cell manufacturing sector to achieve gigawatt-scale capacity.

Founded in 1993 by Ashwani Sehgal, Monica Sehgal, and Vipin Sehgal, Alpex Solar manufactures photovoltaic modules using monocrystalline and polycrystalline technologies. Its products include bifacial, mono-perc, and Halfcut solar PV modules. The company also offers comprehensive solar energy solutions and serves as a contract manufacturer for firms like Jakson and Tata Power.

Alpex Solar entered solar panel manufacturing in 2007, establishing a 150,000 sq. ft. facility in Greater Noida. With a current capacity of 900 MW, it plans to expand to 1.2 GW by FY25. The company’s expertise in R&D and manufacturing has positioned it as a preferred supplier in the industry. It employs over 200 professionals and was listed on NSE Emerge in February 2024.
