TÜV Rheinland, a company in the field of technical services, has awarded its first Pre-Certification in India to Avaada Group for their green hydrogen and ammonia production facility. Avaada GH2 Private Limited received this certification for their renewable energy-powered plant in Gopalpur, which will produce 0.5 million metric tons per annum (MMTPA) of green ammonia. The certification confirms that Avaada’s project meets all necessary design criteria for production, storage, and transportation of green hydrogen and ammonia. This pre-certification aligns with the European Union’s Renewable Energy Directive II (REDII) regulations, ensuring a climate-neutral production process.
