With over 40 years of experience in precision engineering, UCAM is set to highlight its expertise in CNC Rotary Tables and multi-axis machining solutions at IMTEX 2027. The company will participate in the exhibition, scheduled from 21 to 27 January 2027 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru, with a portfolio of technologies developed for machine tool manufacturers and component producers. Its showcase will focus on advanced rotary table designs, 4th and 5th axis solutions, and connected manufacturing technologies.

At the exhibition, UCAM will showcase its range of 4th and 5th axis solutions, including direct-drive, roller-cam and high-speed rotary tables. The display at Hall 1A, Stall A101, will also feature large-format rotary tables designed for heavy-duty machining. A key highlight will be the latest additions to its rotary table portfolio, developed to deliver high acceleration, rigidity, positioning accuracy, and reduced backlash for demanding machining applications.

The growing adoption of multi-axis machining is changing how manufacturers approach complex component production. UCAM’s rotary indexing solutions allow multiple faces of a component to be machined with fewer setups, reducing manual intervention and setup-related errors. Its CNC Tilting Rotary Tables and Cantilever tables also give machine builders greater flexibility to develop machines for specialized applications. These capabilities are particularly relevant for manufacturers working with complex geometries and tight dimensional requirements.

Precision and repeatability remain central to UCAM’s rotary table development. Its solutions incorporate rigid construction and precision axial and radial bearing arrangements to minimise deflection during machining. Direct-drive and roller-cam technologies also help reduce mechanical wear and backlash, supporting faster indexing, improved surface finish and greater machining flexibility. These capabilities are particularly relevant to high-precision applications in aerospace, 3C machining, semiconductor manufacturing, and other advanced manufacturing sectors.

In addition to its rotary table portfolio, UCAM will showcase CNC Gear Hobbing machines from Nimble Machines and BLDC Torque Motors from Nimble Electric. The company will also highlight customized, application-specific rotary table configurations, including its URQ and USSR series, which can be supplied with specialised fixtures, booster units and tailstocks. These solutions are developed around individual machining requirements, helping manufacturers reduce setup time, improve accuracy, and achieve tighter tolerances.

UCAM is also extending its focus towards connected manufacturing through UCAM Connect. Its IoT modules allow users to monitor parameters such as temperature, humidity, and machine runtime through web-based dashboards. This helps manufacturers track machine conditions and identify maintenance requirements proactively. The company is further developing its capabilities in automation and robotic integration to address the growing demand for connected and efficient production systems.

Serving both domestic and international markets, UCAM continues to expand its presence among machine tool manufacturers and global OEMs, particularly in Europe. Its portfolio covers a wide range of rotary table requirements, including specialized configurations and large-format solutions for heavy-duty machining. Backed by in-house research and development, the company follows its ‘Make in India for the World’ philosophy to develop precision engineering solutions for diverse manufacturing applications.

Commenting on the company’s participation, Varun Dev, CEO of UCAM, stated, “At IMTEX 2027, UCAM is proud to demonstrate how our advanced CNC Rotary Tables and 4th & 5th axis solutions power modern manufacturing through precision, productivity, and performance. As Indian and global manufacturers embrace multi-axis machining, smart automation, and Industry 4.0, our direct-drive, roller-cam, and IoT-enabled technologies offer the speed, rigidity, and connectivity needed for tomorrow’s production. Built on robust in-house R&D and our ‘Make in India for the World’ philosophy, UCAM remains dedicated to empowering machine builders and component manufacturers to unlock greater machining capability and efficiency.”
