Cyngn (NASDAQ: CYN), a developer of autonomous vehicle solutions for industrial environments, has successfully completed its SOC 2 Type II examination, with zero exceptions identified during the independent audit. The achievement follows the company’s recent ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, reinforcing its focus on information security, risk management and enterprise compliance requirements.

SOC 2 Type II is a recognised framework used to assess the design and operational effectiveness of an organisation’s information security controls over an extended period. Unlike point-in-time assessments, the examination evaluates whether controls function consistently throughout the review period. Cyngn’s independent auditor identified no exceptions in the controls tested.

“Security is increasingly a prerequisite for doing business with the world’s largest industrial organizations,” said Lior Tal, CEO of Cyngn. “Completing SOC 2 Type II with zero exceptions, alongside our ISO 27001 certification, demonstrates the rigor of our security practices and gives enterprise customers additional confidence as they evaluate Cyngn for deployment across their operations.”

To support customer assessments and partner reviews, Cyngn has also launched its Security & Trust Center at trust.cyngn.com. The online portal provides a central resource for information about the company’s security practices and enables authorised parties to request access to its SOC 2 Type II report, ISO 27001 certification and related compliance documentation. Sensitive information is restricted to authorised users.

As manufacturers and logistics operators increasingly adopt autonomous vehicles, technology providers face closer scrutiny of their cybersecurity controls, data protection measures and operational safeguards. Independent assessments and recognised security certifications can help organisations evaluate suppliers and meet internal vendor approval requirements before deploying new technologies.

Cyngn’s latest examination and ISO certification are intended to support these processes by providing customers with documented evidence of its approach to security and governance. The company’s focus on enterprise requirements comes as industrial operators explore automation to address labour shortages, improve material handling efficiency and reduce exposure to workplace safety incidents.

Cyngn develops and deploys DriveMod autonomous tuggers for industrial customers. Its technology automates repetitive material-handling routes in manufacturing facilities and warehouses without requiring extensive infrastructure installation. The company targets a typical customer payback period of less than two years.

Through its EasyLaunch™ deployment programme, customers can deploy an autonomous tugger on a single route for a monthly payment, without an upfront capital expenditure or long-term commitment. Cyngn’s solutions are designed to help industrial organisations streamline operations and introduce autonomous material handling with a flexible deployment model.
