Specialty chemicals company LANXESS is showcasing its lubricant additives, synthetic base fluids and finished lubricant products at the 4th Rosefield Conference for Lubricants and Fuels, being held at NESCO, Goregaon, Mumbai, on October 28 and 29. The company is presenting solutions for lubricant and metalworking fluid formulations aimed at industrial processes and modern metalworking applications. Visitors can meet LANXESS specialists at booths 14 and 25 in the Grande Banquet to learn about its products and technical capabilities.
Among the products on display are Everest® and Hatcol® polyol ester (POE) refrigeration lubricants. These products are designed for the changing requirements of air-conditioning systems in electric and hybrid vehicles. Their properties include dielectric strength, compatibility with refrigerants, thermal stability and lubricity.
The lubricants are intended to support the adoption of refrigerants with lower global warming potential, including R1234yf and R1234ze. LANXESS draws on more than 30 years of experience in refrigeration lubrication, with its POE products serving both original equipment manufacturers and aftermarket applications.
The company’s wider portfolio includes lubricant additives and additive systems, synthetic base fluids and ready-to-use lubricants for automotive, industrial, metalworking, refrigeration, thermal power and aviation applications. These products are designed to reduce friction and wear, protect equipment against corrosion, improve power transmission and extend machinery service life.
LANXESS is also expanding its lubricant additives capabilities in India by combining its global technical expertise with local manufacturing. Its blending plant in Jhagadia, Gujarat, inaugurated earlier in 2026, is intended to serve customers in India, the Middle East and other international markets. The facility has been developed with attention to operational safety, energy efficiency and environmental practices.
Ganesh Khole, Associate General Manager and Head of Sales and New Business Development for the Lubricant Additives business unit at LANXESS India, said the company was developing products to address changing industrial requirements. He said the company’s focus on innovation, technical expertise and sustainability was aimed at helping customers improve operating performance while reducing their environmental impact.
The conference provides an opportunity for lubricant manufacturers, suppliers and industrial customers to discuss product development, formulation requirements and applications across mobility and manufacturing. LANXESS is using the event to present its technical portfolio and engage with businesses seeking lubricant solutions for existing and emerging industrial applications.
