NATCO Pharma Limited has launched Carboplatin Injection, a generic version of Paraplatin®, in the United States through its subsidiary, NATCO Pharma USA LLC. The product is being manufactured in collaboration with Chennai-based Teyro Labs Pvt Ltd.
The launch comes amid a shortage of Carboplatin Injection in the US market and is intended to help address supply requirements. According to industry sales data cited by the company, the product recorded estimated US sales of US$27.8 million for the 12 months ended June 2026.
Carboplatin Injection is indicated for the treatment of advanced ovarian carcinoma. Its approved uses include first-line combination therapy and palliative treatment of recurrent disease in patients who have previously received chemotherapy. The launch expands NATCO’s US product portfolio, which focuses on generic medicines and products in markets where competition may be limited.
