Sparkle Clean Tech (SCT), a water and wastewater treatment company, has partnered with Al Masaood’s Projects & Engineering Services Division (PESD) to expand its presence in the United Arab Emirates and strengthen its ability to serve customers across the region. The partnership with the Abu Dhabi-based business group will provide SCT with a local platform to pursue opportunities in the UAE’s industrial and energy sectors. The company has also completed registration and qualification with Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) for demineralisation (DM) plants, enabling it to participate in relevant project opportunities.
SCT has more than 20 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment and has completed over 1,000 projects across industrial and infrastructure sectors. Its portfolio includes industrial wastewater treatment, water reuse and recycling, demineralisation, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, effluent treatment and zero liquid discharge systems.
The company serves industries such as oil and gas, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, defence and semiconductors. It operates a manufacturing and research and development facility spanning nearly 200,000 square feet in Khopoli, near Navi Mumbai, and employs around 200 people.
Sumeet Mehra, CEO and President of Sparkle Clean Tech, said the UAE was an important part of the company’s international growth strategy. He said the partnership with Al Masaood would help SCT engage with regional industries, while its ADNOC qualification would strengthen its ability to participate in relevant projects.
Dr Khursheed Alam, General Manager of Al Masaood PESD, said demand for reliable and efficient water treatment solutions remained strong across the UAE’s energy and industrial sectors. He said SCT’s technical capabilities and project experience were relevant to regional requirements and expressed the division’s interest in working with the company to support customers.
SCT will also present its water treatment technologies at ADIPEC 2026 in Abu Dhabi. The company plans to showcase solutions for produced water treatment and oil-water separation, including flotation systems, corrugated plate interceptors, nutshell filters, hydrocyclones and ultrafiltration systems.
