Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) reported a 12% year-on-year increase in overall gas volume and a 34% rise in revenue from operations for the second quarter of FY2027, supported by higher CNG demand, expansion of its piped natural gas network and growth across its geographical areas. For the half year ended September 30, 2026, overall volume grew 13% year-on-year, while revenue from operations increased 31%. EBITDA rose 12% to ₹340 crore in Q2 FY2027. Half-year EBITDA stood at ₹621 crore, up 3% from the corresponding period last year.

Sanjay Pandita, CEO of ATGL, said the company delivered volume and revenue growth despite higher international prices, currency depreciation and reduced allocation of domestic gas under the administered pricing mechanism (APM). He said diversified sourcing, a mix of long-term contracts and market purchases, and calibrated pricing helped manage input costs while maintaining supply reliability.

CNG volume increased 17% year-on-year in both Q2 and H1 FY2027, supported by network expansion and higher throughput. PNG volume grew 3% in the quarter and 4% during the half year, driven by domestic and commercial demand. Around 11.81 lakh homes are now connected to the company’s piped natural gas network.

The operating environment remained challenging during the quarter amid the West Asia crisis and elevated Brent-linked and spot gas prices. Following the withdrawal of temporary pooled support from July 5, 2026, the government introduced a revised high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) gas allocation framework. ATGL said it used domestic allocations, long- and mid-term contracts, and market purchases to meet demand. APM allocation for the CNG segment averaged around 25% during the quarter.

The cost of natural gas increased 43% year-on-year in Q2 FY2027. Profit before tax stood at ₹235 crore and standalone profit after tax at ₹167 crore. Consolidated profit after tax was ₹173 crore for the quarter and ₹315 crore for the half year. In its e-mobility business, Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited expanded its network to 5,513 installed EV charging points across 26 states and Union Territories and 225 cities. Installed capacity reached around 63 MW, with 4,809 charging points operational.

Adani TotalEnergies Biomass Limited sold 460 tonnes of CBG during H1 FY2027, including 195 tonnes through dedicated CBG stations. Organic manure sales exceeded 6,865 tonnes, of which more than 1,757 tonnes were sold under the Harit Amrit brand. ATGL also reported that its NSE Sustainability score reached 75, while its Stakeholders Empowerment Services score improved to 75 out of 100.
