PureSil Paints, the mineral-based architectural coatings brand of Relic Coatings LLP, plans to establish 100 distribution and business locations across major metropolitan cities and state capitals over the next 12 months. The company aims to expand its market presence with domestically developed mineral paints made using locally sourced raw materials.
PureSil Paints has appointed channel partners in Nagpur, Cuttack, Pune, Kolkata, Raipur and Vadodara as part of the first phase of its expansion. Since its commercial launch in August 2026, the company has focused on product trials, customer engagement, distribution development and institutional project opportunities.
The company describes PureSil Paints as a 100% Made in India product, developed using indigenous technology and locally sourced materials. Its manufacturing approach is intended to reduce dependence on imported raw materials and support domestic supply chains.
The paint range uses mineral silicate technology, incorporating a rice husk ash-based silicate binder and proprietary silicification technology. It also uses rice husk ash and fly ash, putting agricultural and industrial by-products to use in construction materials. PureSil Paints has a zero-volatile organic compound (VOC) formulation and breathable coating technology. The breathable surface allows moisture vapour to pass through the coating, helping manage moisture in walls. The product range is available in multiple colours and stock-keeping units to meet different requirements in residential and commercial buildings.
Demand for coatings with lower environmental impact is growing as construction companies and property developers place greater emphasis on material selection, resource efficiency and indoor environments. Mineral-based coatings are one option being considered alongside conventional paint products.
