Transrail Lighting Limited has secured new orders worth ₹927 crore, primarily in its domestic power transmission and distribution (T&D) business. With these additions, the company’s order intake for the financial year has reached ₹3,356 crore. The latest orders mainly comprise engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects for 765kV and 400kV transmission lines in India. The order wins also include conductor supply contracts for the US market.
The company said it had secured more than ₹2,300 crore in orders announced over the preceding three weeks, continuing its order inflow momentum. The new contracts add to its project pipeline as demand for transmission infrastructure and related equipment remains strong in domestic and international markets.
Transrail has manufacturing capabilities for transmission towers and conductors, supporting its EPC operations. Its manufacturing facilities in India produce galvanised lattice towers, overhead conductors, including high-temperature low-sag (HTLS) conductors, and galvanised monopoles. The company also operates a tower testing facility.
Commenting on the order wins, Randeep Narang, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Transrail Lighting Limited, said the order inflows reflected the company’s growing scale and competitiveness in the power T&D sector. He said its ability to execute complex transmission EPC projects, supported by in-house tower and conductor manufacturing, remained a key differentiator. Narang added that Transrail would continue to strengthen its domestic business while expanding its international operations and building a diversified portfolio of products and services.
The latest orders cover high-voltage transmission infrastructure, which plays a role in connecting power generation sources with distribution networks and supporting electricity demand. The company’s integrated capabilities allow it to undertake work across design, engineering, manufacturing, construction, testing and commissioning.
