Orris Infrastructure Pvt Ltd has announced the opening of Plus Fitness 24/7 at Orris Market 89, its commercial development in Sector 89, Gurugram. The facility, located on the development’s third floor, marks the Australian fitness franchise’s first gym in the city.

Orris Market 89 is a 3.86-acre commercial project situated in a growing residential and business neighbourhood of Gurugram. The development is planned as a mixed-use high-street retail and studio complex, bringing together shopping, dining, fitness and entertainment facilities.

The addition of Plus Fitness 24/7 expands the range of services available at the development and provides residents and professionals in Sector 89 and neighbouring areas with access to a dedicated fitness facility. Saurabh Singh, Deputy General Manager – Sales at Orris Infrastructure, said the company was developing Orris Market 89 to meet the everyday needs of the surrounding community. He said the fitness centre was a useful addition to the project and that the company expected more brands to join the development in the coming months.

The commercial complex has been designed to accommodate a range of businesses and consumer services. Its proposed mix includes specialty retail outlets, delis, cafés, restaurants, health clubs, beauty clinics and a hypermarket for everyday shopping. Plans also include a food court, an entertainment zone with a gaming arcade and children’s zone, high-street retail outlets, anchor and lifestyle stores, showrooms and bank spaces.

The project’s European-inspired design combines retail and studio spaces in a format intended to bring different services together within one commercial destination. Plus Fitness is an Australian fitness franchise that has operated since 1996. The brand has gyms across Australia, New Zealand, India and other Asia-Pacific markets. Its operating model includes 24-hour gym access, standardised club facilities and technology-based services.

The company also offers a member application featuring workout resources, classes and fitness challenges. The Gurugram opening adds a new location to its Indian presence. For Orris Infrastructure, the launch forms part of the development of Orris Market 89 as a commercial destination serving the surrounding residential catchment. The company plans to bring together retail, food, wellness and entertainment businesses to support regular community use.

Orris Infrastructure Private Limited, part of the Gurugram-based Orris Group, was incorporated in 2006. Its portfolio includes residential, commercial, retail, hospitality and logistics projects across the National Capital Region. The group says it has delivered more than 7 million square feet of development for over 5,000 families.
